About
Born 1975 in Oxford I trained at the Norfolk Institute of Art and Design and the University of Central England (Presently B.C.U) graduating in 1998 with a B.A.(Hons) in Ceramics with Glass then later in 2000 with a P.G.C.E in Art and Design. After a period of time teaching in Worcestershire and cake making from home I now work out of my Sutton based studio in the heart of the Midlands.
My work is generally influenced by nature thanks to an early childhood spent enjoying the Norfolk countryside with it’s coastal areas, soaking up the wide open spaces and its vast skylines.
Add to this the opportunities I have had through the years to visit other countries has all enriched my knowledge in both culture and art which has ultimately led me to my present style in design.
Currently I create original artwork using a variety of mediums ranging from watercolours, acrylics, mixed media, ceramics and textiles.
